Bringing Your Dock To Life

Introducing Our Unique Under-Dock Habitat System

The Dock Habitats are innovative under-dock systems which replicate the natural environment of mangrove prop roots and salt water marsh plants, significantly boosting nursery habitat and aquatic life in man-made waterways, canals and dock systems where it's needed most.

By installing these structures under existing docks, Eco Homies aims to bring back the 80%-100% of micro-ecosystems lost to coastal development over the decades, particularly since the 1950s and 1960s.

Dock Habitat Features

Life Producing

The Dock Habitat supports over 150,000 organisms (many very small in size) representing 100+ species of fish, crabs, and thousands of other marine creatures. On average each Habitat sends out over 500 fish, shrimp and carbs into surrounding water each year.

Natural Filtration

Filtering between 18,000 and 120,000 gallons per day (depending on what species of filter feeding organisms live on the Habitat) The Dock Habitat harnesses the power of Mother Nature to fight the declining water quality crisis found in all coastal waterways around the world.

Proven Durability

Built to withstand the harshest marine environments with over ten thousand Dock Habitats installed and one billion + combined hours in the water. Many Dock Habitats have been able to survive CAT 4 and 5 hurricanes. Most units will outlive the dock they are installed under

The Dock Habitat – Proven Water Restoration for Your Waterfront

For decades, we've been perfecting the Dock Habitat, pushing it beyond "just another dock add-on" into something far more powerful—a precision-engineered thriving marine sanctuary that doubles as a water-cleaning system .

We didn't rely on guesswork or theory. We built real-world underwater labs to test every detail. The above photos shows 55 gallon fish tank experiments showing the incredible filtering power of marine organisms like oysters and sea squirts which live on our Habitats.

Larger experiments using floating booms with vinyl curtains sealed to the canal floor created controlled environments to measure exactly what our habitats could do for water quality. Then we ran 100 separate trials, pushing our fully developed units to the limit.

The experiment below was 10,000 gallons and produced 7 feet of visibility in a dirty canal with less than 3 feet of visibility. It only took 24 hours for the difference to occur.

Species of Marine Life

Each Dock Habitat filtered an average of 30,117 gallons of water every single day. In many cases, the numbers climbed as high as 120,000 gallons daily, thanks to the oysters, barnacles, sea squirts and other natural filterers that colonized The Habitats over time.

More Than Just Clean Water

But water clarity is just part of the story. Every habitat we pulled up was teeming with life: over 150,000 organisms per unit, representing 100+ species of fish, crabs, and tens of thousands of other tiny marine creatures. These habitats create a safe, nutrient-rich nursery, giving young marine life a place to thrive before they venture out into open waters.

And this isn't theory anymore—it's proven in the field. With thousands of installations and over one hundred million combined hours in the water, the Dock Habitat is built to last, engineered to withstand the harshest marine environments while quietly transforming your dock area into a cleaner, healthier, more vibrant ecosystem.

Your dock can do more than just sit in the water. Let it clean, protect, and bring life back to it—starting now.

This isn't just about owning a dock—it's about owning a piece of the solution, making your waterfront clearer, more alive, and undeniably better for generations to come.
